• Sometimes the Holy Spirit guides you on unexpected paths, not that I’m surprised to be painting, but the conviction to paint intentionally seemed illogical and far fetched. I have confidence that God will use my art for His glory and to bring people joy.

  • Abstraction has had my heart for quite awhile but January 1st I decided to journey down the spectrum and started implementing more realistic elements.

On March 1st I released a collection inspired by folk art that has a whimsy and familiar vibe.

  • Should I list my hobbies or deep thoughts on life and love? Maybe both?

    • compost worms

    • logical honesty

    • thrifting

    • fellowship with God

    • simple moments with pals

    • playing devil’s advocate

    • flowers

  • As a stay at home mom, my family is part of my art. I have a small corner of my room converted into a studio so that I can paint in between food prep, homeschool lessons, and dance parties. I have three tiny humans and we’re also adding another kiddo to the team soon through adoption.

Due to my husband’s job in the Navy, our family has moved across the country a couple times. I’m thankful for the adventures we’ve had but super stoked to settle down in a couple years after he gets out.

Hi,

I’m Sam!
